This guy certainly knows how to make a lady feel good and to fall in love with him. He pretended to be a supervisor with an oil company and was retiring to open his own oil company. He said he lost his wife to cancer and has a 17 year old son. The trouble he incurred was when he went to Nigeria to negotiate the sell of an oil rig. He contacted me to send money because they didn't take credit cards there and he needed to fly home to me. After getting the money, he did fly home, but to the UK. I lost contact for a couple of days and then he contacted me again and said he had been delayed in the Netherlands. Lost contact all week with him and then I started to suspect that he was a scammer. I tried to contact him endlessly and then he contacted me and stated his life was in danger and he needed more money to fly home. He said he couldn't ask his parents because his mother was very ill and his father was taking care of her. Well, by this time I didn't believe him. He took all my money and I had to ask my parents for help on my rent. I ended contact with him and his last email was to wish me luck.

Yup.....I met this man on eHarmony this past summer. He gave me the same story: was orphaned at a young age, was raised by his aunt and uncle. Had a 15 year old son being raised by this late wife'sparents. Late wife died of cancer five years ago. Worked for Hallibuton in Europe as a supervisor but was going to quit in order to follow his dream and start his own drilling company. When he got to Kwait t work out a deal, everything fell through because his contacts wanted him to abandon his Christian faith. He then traveled to Nigeria to try again, and that is when he started to ask for money. At that time, I had already been a victim of another scammer and knew the pattern, so, I did no pursue further communication and I never heard from him again. His name was JONATHAN MORELAND and he was very generous with the photgraphs and sent me many ( that is why I recognize him in the photos posted here). Unfortunatly, I did not save any of the photos he sent me. I think that sites like eHarmony are truly part of these scams because they do not do a good background check and let these scammers through. They should do something to filter out these criminals!!!

OMG he has been talking to me for months and I've gotten the same exact story you all do. He claims when he flew out of kuwait to Nigeria he went to a jewlrey store and picked up an engagement ring for me and he's so in love with me. He definitely knows how to make you feel loved and special. He has sent me the same pictures that are on here.

ok Ladies Dave Williams is still out there scamming. He contacted me threw Myspace. Oh, yes he can be very convincing. I knew right away something wasn't right, he was very vague in his answers and when confronted about not being real, he did his best to turn around the conversation about trusting him. He does use religion to make you believe that he is real. He will woe you to no end but honey 4 days you don't fall madly in love with someone you never met. He did not come right out asking for money, but the hint was there and he turned around and said ' you think I'm asking you for money? ' how clever he thinks he is. Oh yeah, he will visit soon and marry me. He contacted me 2/17/09 and today is 2/28/09. Thats fast lovin. Ladies be careful...I almost fell for it but i have a very big distrust of men. I thank the lord that i did not fall for his ' i need a operation, but have no money, and if you loved me, you would help me.' If he worked as Oil enginener with an Phd, then he certainly doesn't need money from a single Mom. Ladies take and watch yourselves.

Hey ladies Ronald Evans is his new name or another name. And I think he is Nigerian. I just foolishly got scammed by this man and he was an oil engineer and he lost his father when he was 7 and his mom when he was 13 and was raised by uncle Pasqual. He says he is from the Bahamas. He is raising his 10 year old son Alex by himself because he lost his wife from breast cancer 7 years ago.He also sent a picture of a little boy. He supposedly went to Africa to buy his own oil. Now here is where it gets good, a Nigerian man called me to tell me that he was a doctor and that Ronald was shot and robbed on his way to the airport, and some good people brought him to his hospital, and he left a number. He never mentioned money until he told me he needed sergury and that the bill was $4000. And since he was robbed, of course he did not have that, but the doctor said just give him $2500 and he could send the rest. Well stupid me believed him and all his tears and boy did he sound legit! He is very very good!!!! I sent him $2500 to pay the doctor.( Did I say stupid me?). And of course he was coming this Sunday 3/1/09, to be with me and go to Jacksonville, Fl. to meet his son. And eventually my 2 kids and I would move there with them.Of course he didn't come. The only difference between my story and these are the photos. These are not the pictures I have of Ronald Evans, but the story is identical!
Watch out ladies, don't be stupid like me. and stay off of eharmony, that's where I met him too.

'Ronald Evans'

Hi there,
I was reading your lines and you were saying: these are not the pictures you have of Ronald Evans, but the story is identical!
Can you please post the photos that he sent you? It would help others to recognize him at least.
Thanks.

Hey guys David Williams is still out there but going by the name Matt Hutton. I have talking to him for the past 2 months. He is a real charmer. Can definately tak your way into your heart. Only got suspicious when he started asking for money. First it was $200, then $500 and a couple days ago it is up to $4,000. He is using the same similar story about his wife dying, having a 16 year old son in a boarding school in England. He went to Nigeria to start an oil company that we are supposed to run together back in the states. Watch out for this guy.

I have been scammed too. I met the guy on Eharmony, he said his name was Bryan Beatty, he has a 10 year old son named Alex, and that he lives in Jacksonville, FL. He sent me pictures of Alex. The pictures on here is not the picture I saw on Eharmony. He had me wire money through Western Union to Charles Burrows in Nigeria. Don't give him any money!

This is the picture I have of Bryan Beatty. I had printed it out from Eharmony. He said he has a 10 year old son named Alex, that his wife died of breast cancer 7 years ago, that he was an engineer in the oil industry, that he could not get an oil license in Kuwait because he is not Muslim and that he went to Nigeria to get a license there. He gave me a sob story about how he could not use his credit card in Nigeria, that it would take 6-8 days for his wire transfer to clear, that Nigerian pirates had threatened to kill him and that he needed money desperately. I fell for it unfortunately. I was asked to wire money to Charles Burrows in Rivers State Nigeria. His phone number showed up on my cell phone as 234 70 404 31766.
